How to Reset Password (forgot password) when you are in office
In the event you have forgotten your password while you are at office, you may click to below link from your web browser to reset your password
1. Go to the link https://passwordreset.microsoftonline.com/.
2. Enter your full email address and characters showed below. Then, click “Next”.
3. Verify your identity by selecting à Send a text to my mobile phone number.
Enter your registered mobile phone number to receive verification code by SMS.
4. You will receive an SMS (as below).
5. Enter the verification code then click “Next”.
6. Now type your new password and click “Finish”
7. You have successfully reset your password
To take note:
• After reset password via self-service portal, user will be prompted to enter the new password to common applications such as Outlook and Microsoft Teams.
• To sync the new password with your laptop, kindly wait approximately 30 minutes for the newly changed password to synchronize with Active Directory, then press CTRL + ALT + DEL (from keyboard) and select Sign out and re-sign in using the new password.
• Should you failed to login to your laptop/desktop with your new password, please use your old password, fingerprint or pin code, and report to IT Support for assistance.
• User can only reset password once every 24 hrs.
